Our Story

Justice and Amber are lifelong residents of the Yakima area who share a passion for entrepreneurship, community, and family. Since meeting in 2017, they welcomed their first son, Whitlee, in January 2019, and their second son, Wylder, in August 2020—completing the Johnson family. They have built both a life and a portfolio of businesses rooted in hard work, integrity, and meaningful local connections.

In 2018, they founded Johnson Trucking, establishing a reputation for reliability and strong customer relationships. As their vision expanded, the company evolved into JTR Enterprises (Johnson Trucking & Repair), adding a full-service repair division that supports everything from heavy-duty equipment to daily drivers.

Driven by their love for coffee culture and community engagement, Justice and Amber launched Rise and Grind Coffee Co in Selah in March 2024. What began as a passion project quickly grew into a thriving local brand, with a second location opening on Washington in March 2025 and a third in Terrace Heights in July 2025. Rise and Grind Coffee Co reflects their commitment to creating welcoming spaces that bring people together while delivering quality products and exceptional service.

Beyond business, you can find Justice and Amber  supporting local events, cheering on their boys at sporting event or enjoying the outdoors, they embrace a busy and purpose-driven lifestyle. Grateful for the continued support of the communities they serve, they remain committed to building businesses that reflect their values and strengthen the place they call home.
